Gardens & Grounds
The hotel sits within 30,000 m2 of landscaped botanical gardens that include over 1,000 unique plant species. A Zen Garden with stones and flowering trees provides a space for meditation and mindfulness. Herbs from the on-site organic vegetable garden are used in the hotel's wellness treatments and restaurant dishes.
Wellness & Spa
The spa is one of the largest in Madeira, containing 10 treatment rooms, a Finnish sauna, an indoor pool, and an ice fountain. The spa entrance fee includes access to the indoor pool, jacuzzi, sauna, Turkish bath, sensation shower, and fitness room. Guests can book body treatments such as body scrubs, wraps, and facials, or use the outdoor pool, hot tub, and solarium.
Dining
La Perla restaurant offers gourmet Portuguese cuisine and has been distinguished as one of the best restaurants in Portugal by the Portuguese Academy of Gastronomy.
